Let me tell you a little about these beautiful oak leaves:
they were gathered by my beautiful son and I on Saturday mornings at a local urban farm where we marveled over old tractors and kale
and tried to remain calm and peaceful when the ornery goose Emily came to show us who owns the place. He was two years old, now he is a young MAN. Of nearly eleven. The years are fast and the days are long (though not so much anymore, it's all just a blur!!)

These leaves are precious things.

Pierced and softened and strung together, these are shoulder dusters for sure - golden yellow brass with sterling ear wires and jump rings.
