I imagine myself curled warm and safe in God's palm.

To let the world be far away
To let my creator cradle my human body
Like a mother

How loved I am,
How seen.

The rhythm the heart,
The love, my own.
I sigh and
Nestle into the warm clean sheets
Feeling the breeze through the open window
And knowing fully somewhere ancient
That I am the story and the writer,
Both.
